Futures contracts require margin to trade, allowing you to leverage deposits to significantly reduce market risk.

If your trade ticket shows a notice date, your contract will settle physically. AFT does not offer physical delivery or receipt of underlying assets. We recommend noting all expiration dates and first notice days (FND) for your futures contracts and ensuring all futures contracts are closed out in time. If positions are held to expiration, they will be handled as follows and incur additional costs.
In certain contracts, AFT's FND may be several days earlier than the FND provided by the relevant exchange. Before trading, be sure to consult the contract conditions and trade ticket shown on the trading platform to understand the specific rules for each contract.
• If the expiration date is before the FND adopted by AFT, the contract will be closed by AFT on the expiration date.
• If AFT's FND is on or before the expiration date, AFT will close such clients' open contracts on the trade date.
• If the futures position is not closed by the relevant date, AFT will close it at the first available opportunity on your behalf at the prevailing market rate. As mentioned above, clients who fail to close positions on time will be subject to additional charges.
